Droopy eyelids
WHAT ARE DROOPY EYE LIDS?
Droopy eyelids, also known as ptosis, is a commonly known malady of the aging eye. It was caused by a loss of elasticity in your eye lid as well as a weakening of the muscle, called the levator, that elevates your eyelid.
Droopy eye lids often occur as we age and can affect both our appearance and vision. The muscle in the eye responsible for lifting the eyelid, stretches as you age, and can cause the eyelid to fall. Aging is usually the primary cause of a droopy eyelid.
Three conditions which causes droopy eyelid are commonly: Dermatochalasis, Ptosis and Brow Ptosis. Ptosis is caused by a weakening of muscle that results on the upper eyelid drooping over the eye, while Dermatochalasis is caused by excess skin, fat, or muscle on the eyelid area. Eyebrows that move downwards with time, is called Brow Ptosis, contributing to a tired and old look.

DERMAL FILLER
Droopy eyelids, also known as ptosis, is a commonly known malady of the aging eye. It was caused by a loss of elasticity in your eye lid as well as a weakening of the muscle, called the levator, that elevates your eyelid.
Eyes are the focus of your face. In Celevenus, Dr Chau uses different ways of combination treatment to improve droopy eye lids and of course depends on the severity.
One of it, is to inject dermal filler under your skin, immediately behind your eyebrow, to add dimension, making your upper eyelid less droopy and more alert looking. Another option is to put filler in the temple area, which pulls your eyelids from the outside corners. Depending where you are in the aging process, one of these areas, or both, can be an ideal solution for your saggy eyelids. And a great thing about fillers is that you get to see immediate results.
BOTULINUM TOXIN BROW LIFT
A highly arched eyebrow is a classic sign of youthful beauty, health and alertness. As the eyebrow and forehead descend, a loose fold of skin begins to cover the upper eyelid and make our eyes look old and tired. As we are aging, the eyebrow naturally falls and droops, especially the sides of the brow. A droopy brow can even decrease visual field in severe cases.
Botulinum toxin can help reverse and prevent many of these changes. By treating the frown muscles and the outer part of the eyelids with Botulinum toxin, we can relax the muscles around the brow and eye and lift the eyebrows.
This treatment involves having a series of small volume injections using an ultra-fine needle to deliver Botulinum toxin just under the skin and into the muscle. The process is extremely comfortable and takes approximately 10 minutes.
Rubbing or massaging the treated area is discouraged for four hours to prevent moving away the toxin from the intended injection point and reducing its effect.
