ABOUT REJURAN SKIN
Celevenus Wellness & Aesthetic Clinic is proud to introduce our latest skin rejuvenation treatment, known as Rejuran Healer. It is a skin booster injection designed to help with the healing of wounds as well as having an anti-inflammatory effect on our body. Rejuran Healer treatment has several beneficial effects on our skin, including better elasticity, texture and skin tone, reduced wrinkles and fine lines, improved thickness of skin and oil production, and hydration.
HOW DOES REJURAN HEALER WORK?
This filler injection’s main active ingredients are made from salmon DNA and polynucleotides (PN). Salmon DNA is known to be most similar and biocompatible to human DNA and polynucleotides is the enhanced version of Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN), which has been already widely used to treat ageing skin and hair loss in Korea. When the Rejuran Healer is introduced into the dermis through micro-injections, it works by restoring the health and elasticity of the skin from within, promoting long-term and lasting results.
Rejuran comes in 3 different series to treat different skin concerns. The star product is the Rejuran Healer, which is used for full face revitalization, the Rejuran S for scar treatment, and Rejuran I which is mainly for under-eye rejuvenation. WHO IS REJURAN HEALER SUITABLE FOR?
This treatment is suitable for anyone who wants to slow down the signs of ageing and is recommended for adults from their mid-twenties onwards. Mature skin can benefit greatly from it as well to reduce signs of aging on their skin.
WHAT IS THE REJURAN HEALER TREATMENT PROCESS LIKE?
A topical numbing cream will be applied on the treatment area for 30 minutes before the treatment begins. Dr Chau will then administer multiple small doses of Rejuran Healer under the skin using an applicator or manually. The entire process will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After the procedure, a calming mask will be applied on the treated areas to reduce any redness and swelling.
WILL THERE BE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER THE TREATMENT?
As the Rejuran Healer is administered using micro-injections or by hand, some swelling and tiny pinprick marks will be visible on the treated areas, which will subside with the application of a calming mask after the procedure. Individuals are also advised to avoid aspirin, Vitamin E, alcohol and blood-thinners for 2-3 days prior to this procedure to minimize bruising and swelling. Oral Sinnech (Arnica) may also be obtained from Celevenus to aid recovery.
WHEN WILL I SEE VISIBLE RESULTS?
As the Rejuran Healer is a skin-healing procedure, patients are unlikely to see immediate results after the treatment. However, patients will be able to notice gradual improvement over the course of the next 4 weeks as the treatment takes effect to rejuvenate the skin. We recommend patients to undergo a series of 4 treatment sessions to yield the best results. Based on individual skin conditions, each treatment should be done 4 to 6 weeks apart. After which, the treatments can be repeated every 6 to 9 months for a longer lasting result.
CAN REJURAN HEALER BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
Yes. Depending on individual conditions, other aesthetic treatments such as HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), Q-Switched Revlite and Fractional CO2 may be recommended to enhance the effects of Rejuran Healer. During the consultation session, Dr Chau will advise the treatments that can be combined with Rejuran Healer in order to achieve better results.
REJURAN HEALER AND SKINBOOSTERS (水光针) CAN BE DONE IN COMBINATION FOR BETTER RESULTS!
The Rejuran Healer has active ingredients and regenerative properties to stimulate collagen and boost the skin condition in the long run while Restylane Skinboosters mainly contains hyaluronic acid to smoothen, brighten and hydrate the skin. Restylane Skinboosters does not provide rejuvenation effects to slow down the ageing process unlike the Rejuran Healer. Both treatments can be combined to nourish the skin from within and to deliver lasting hydration and brightening of the skin surface.
In conclusion, both Restylane SkinBoosters and Rejuran Healer treatments work in very different ways to address aging and promote skin rejuvenation. Combining both treatments can achieve better anti-aging and skin rejuvenation effects.
REJURAN S FOR ACNE SCAR TREATMENT
HOW ARE ACNE SCARS FORMED AND HOW DOES REJURAN S HELP?
Acne scars are caused by deep inflammation and cyst formation with scar. After inflammation and injury to the skin by acne, the skin will try to heal itself by producing collagen to replace the ones that have been damaged. In some cases, optimal healing might not occur, and may instead form twisted bands between the skin and the SMAS layer, which causes the skin to change shape, get pulled downwards and sink in, forming a deep, pitted scar.
Rejuran S helps to reduce the appearance of acne scarring by inducing collagen reproduction and healing of the skin structure. The texture of Rejuran S is more viscous and gel-like compared to Rejuran Healer, and acts like a filler to fill up sunken scars, and at the same time, the rejuvenating properties of Rejuran S will repair the skin at the dermis.
WHO IS SUITABLE FOR REJURAN S?
Rejuran S is suitable for individuals who wish to treat all types of acne scarring, such as box scars, rolling scars, and ice-pick scars. Stubborn acne scars that cannot be improved further by laser treatments can benefit greatly from this treatment as it plumps up the depression site while repairing the damaged tissue to improve the scar size and depth in the long run.
HOW IS THE REJURAN S DONE AND THE RECOVERY PROCESS LIKE?
A topical numbing cream will be applied on the treatment area for 30 minutes before the procedure. A subcision will then be performed to break up the scar tissue in order to administer Rejuran S underneath the scar. For best results, Fractional CO2 laser is highly recommended after this treatment to further stimulate the regenerative properties of Rejuran S. There will be a downtime of 2-3 days after the injection, with mild bruising expected for deeper acne scars. When combined with Fractional CO2 laser, some redness and scabbing may occur and will subside in 3-5 days.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD REJURAN S BE DONE?
3-4 treatments are recommended for best results, with about 1 month in between treatments.
REJURAN I – EYE TREATMENT
Eye wrinkles and dark eye circle is a common complaint which we encounter in Celevenus. There are several factors contributing to dark eye circle and eye wrinkles. Dark circles under eyes usually aren’t a sign of exhaustion or serious illness, though they can make you look old, unhealthy and tired.
Genetics is one of the factors which make the dark eye circles more visible even at a very young age which tends to worsen with age. Fatigue is a common cause which happen on younger patients who have busy schedules, they frequently lack adequate sleep. When we age, it can aggravate dark eye circles with the presence of eyebags.
We are excited to introduce you the Rejuran I (EYE) that has recently been launched in Singapore. Rejuran I is specifically designed for rejuvenating the skin around eye area and approved to be used in Singapore.
WHAT IS REJURAN I EYE TREATMENT?
Rejuran I is a skin healer which has progressive skin reparative and regenerative effect. Rejuran I delivers concentrated Polynucleotides, DNA into the skin cells activating and accelerating cell repair and cell regeneration from deep within your skin.
The long chains of Polynucleotides (PDRN) DNA salmon extracts possess multiple benefits for the skin to rejuvenate the skin, reverse the aging process of the skin and is a natural skin lifter. Rejuran I salmon PDRN extracts are highly purified, manufactured under strict conditions to guarantee its quality, grade and hypo allergenicity, thus they are compatible to human skin and highly suited for healing and rejuvenating your skin and areas around your eyes.
There is progressive collagen formation and remodelling in your skin, strengthening and thickening the skin structure overlying the blood vessels in the under eyes area, reducing the bloodshot colour.
HOW REJURAN I WORKS?
When injecting Rejuran I into the tear trough hollows under the eyebags accomplishes progressive thickening of the skin structure. This hollowness gradually lifts due to the thickening and strengthening of the skin structure. Progressive volumizing under the eye area takes place. Rejuran I helps to lighten the dark pigments under the eyes area. Enhanced collagen and elastin formation reduce the fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes area. Rejuran replenishes the water balance and the skin is more hydrated and supple. A smoother and fuller contour under eyes area creates a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
HOW IS REJURAN I DIFFERENT FROM REJURAN HEALER?
Rejuran I is a more liquid form of Rejuran Healer, which means that it can be used more safely in thin skin without causing lumps and bumps.
WHEN DO I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?
Some patients may see results as quickly as within 2 weeks. Rejuran I is a natural healer and filler. It rejuvenates through cell repair and regeneration. As collagen production starts 28 days after treatment, visible improvements are progressive, gradual and permanent. Each treatment builds on the previous treatment and with each session, the effects are further enhanced.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I REQUIRE?
For optimal results, we recommend protocol of 4 treatments depending on the severity of your condition. Each treatment is performed 4 weeks apart. Maintenance is performed every 6 monthly depending on individual patient’s needs and expectations.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER REJURAN I TREATMENT?
After 1st treatment, most expect to see improvement on skin texture and reduction in skin inflammation. For optimum results, it is generally recommended to continue your ongoing session of Rejuran I every 2 to 3 months apart. Results generally appear after 4 weeks of injection. However, with anything to do with skin, everyone is different, and results may vary.
ARE THERE ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS FROM THE TREATMENT?
In clinical studies done, no adverse effects were seen from the treatment. Common side effects may include mild swelling or bruising over injection sites which is usually temporary. You can get the most out of Rejuran I treatment by combining with other eye treatment, such as Fractional laser treatment, Sculptra, filler and Botox treatment. Dr Chau will go through an assessment and tailor a personalized treatment plan for you.
